The diplomatic community in Bangkok recently came together to celebrate a significant occasion — the 53rd Anniversary of the Independence and National Day of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The elegant celebration was hosted by H.E. Mr. Mohammed Abdul Hye, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Thailand, and Mrs. Tahmina Hye, at the Ballroom of Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.

The event brought together distinguished guests, ambassadors, government officials, and members of the diplomatic corps, all gathered to honor Bangladesh’s remarkable journey of independence, unity, and progress.

The evening reflected the spirit of friendship and cooperation between Bangladesh and Thailand, as well as the nation’s enduring commitment to peace, development, and international collaboration. Attendees enjoyed a warm atmosphere of cultural appreciation, distinguished speeches, and shared goodwill — hallmarks of the enduring diplomatic ties between the two countries.

As Bangladesh continues to advance its vision of economic growth and sustainable development, the celebration served as a reminder of the country’s resilience, dynamic leadership, and growing role on the global stage.

Diplomacy Today extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Government and the People of Bangladesh on this auspicious occasion — a celebration of freedom, pride, and progress.
